Acceptance of terms

By using Assist ELD (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service does

Assist ELD is an AI-powered tool that generates language scaffolds and diagnostic feedback for English Language Development (ELD) instruction. It is designed for use by teachers and education professionals.

Acceptable use

• You may use the Service for educational and professional purposes.
• You must not submit personally identifiable student information (names, IDs, etc.).
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond normal use.

AI-generated content

All scaffolds and diagnostic feedback are generated by AI (Claude by Anthropic). While we work to ensure accuracy and pedagogical soundness, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting all output before use with students.

Subscriptions and billing

Assist ELD offers a free tier (limited daily usage) and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and billed through the Apple App Store or web payment. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
